Description

Dual channel 10/12/14-Bit Digital to analog converter. As DAC was used the DAC2904 from Texas Instruments. It can operate with high update rates of up to 125MSPS. Each DAC has a high-impedance differential-current output suitable for single-ended or differential analog-output configurations.

The SU710 can be used as voltage or current driver. As current driver the DAC2904 can drive 50 Ohm loads with up to 20 mA. To convert the current output to voltage an LMH6702 was used for each channel. This buffer convert the 0-20mA current to a differential output voltage, maximal +/-2V.
